This search tool includes all artists featured in previous exhibitions as well as all active Projekt30 members. The search looks for term matches in all text relating to an image or artist and includes artist statements, descriptions, comments, and user data. Words less then three letters long are ignored.

To search by location: Enter a city to find artists in your geographic location. States usually produce fewer results as they tend to be abbreviated. For large cities like New York, you should include its boroughs in your search. For example: To reveal all artists local to New York City, you should enter "new york brooklyn queens bronx staten island manhattan".

To search by medium: When looking for painting it is usually best to enter a term like "canvas", "acrylic" or "panel", most artists don't describe their paintings as such when entering a description. Photographers tend to refer to their work by print medium (such as "c-print", or "silver gelatin").

To search by content: Avoid overly broad terms like "abstract" or "figurative", these terms tend to bring up half the artists on the site.

To find a specific artist: Enter the artist's first or last name.
