The universal theme of personal investigation has unconsciously been a subject underlying my work since childhood. Art was a way for me to deal with traumatic issues at home through escapism and expression. Through deep introspection and intellectual investigation I have put a consciousness to my work, fully realizing why and what I need to convey as an artist. Self awareness has led to artistic awareness and vice-versa. One is filled with indeterminable strength and simultaneously vulnerability. This vulnerability is what makes us human.
