I am an artist working with the self portrait photograph as a catalyst for exploring identity, perception, archetype, and myth. The images here are from my 'Resurrecting Ophelia' series.

The images in this series were inspired by the archetype of Ophelia. I wanted to capture the dark beauty that is often present in the romanticized poetic imagery of drowning or freezing.

There were very little post processing effects added to any of these images. All of the effects in this series were created in-camera using various surfaces to create the illusion of women submerged underwater.
