Yachi was born in 1980. She graduated from the Department of Visual Communication Design at Kun Shan University. Her passion for painting started at a very young age when she was complimented by her kindergarten teacher for being good at drawing. She tried many different kinds of art as a student, including photography, illustration design and computer graphics. After graduation she has taken jobs like designing illustration for book covers, and drawing teenage manga. With continuous learning and self-training she has gradually develop her very own painting style.
