According to Aristophanes, because the gods split every creature into two during the creation of humankind, it is in our primeval nature to seek for our other lost half. Taken from stories, dreams and nightmares, my characters invite the viewer in to experience the mysteries of this endless search. Bodies become consumed. They begin to emerge from and disappear into each other. Ideas of language and communication are explored in hopes of preserving a sensation of wholeness. Memories are sparked which allows one to escape into a place entirely their own.
