I like to think that all of us have ideas and envisions that are not real to this waking world, but in moments of autonomy, we can imagine to be. All of my work attends to these ideas, situations of a surreal environment that can and do happen. I make it happen. At the same time I use people, place and process to create an environment of
a learned beauty. Most of us have been trained how to respond to certain scenes, landscapes, colours, light. Are these censors even inspired? For me, that beauty is unenlightened.

The ebb n' flow of habitual space and movements has taken it's toll. Using photography, I bring myself and my participants to lands that are not necessarily given any formal value or acceptance of in our days, here in our immediate reality. But, once these presences are put on photographic paper, a value and aesthetic pleasure that is constitutional to photography, is given to them. This photograph has now become a document of the peoples and landscapes history. Making the poetic imagination a reality.
