Consider becoming a member of Projekt30.

A three month, $65 dollar membership allows you to submit up to 10 works to three different exhibitions. Its much more cost effective than a one month, single exhibition account as it allows you more chances to be selected and allows you to display more images, thereby increasing your chances.

Q How do I upload my work?

A You will be prompted to upload your work during the 4th step of the application, after you have paid the application fee. The process of uploading your work is very simple, and resembles the process by which you upload an attachment to an email.

Our new system allows you to:
  • Preview the quality of each image you upload.
  • Reorder images after they have been uploaded.
  • View your submission as it will look on Projekt30.
  • Enter an artist's statement.
  • Make changes to your submission right up to the deadline.
  • Build your own website.

To avoid compatibility issues, be sure you are using the most current version of:

Internet Explorer 6+ (PC only, not recommended)
Fire Fox (PC or Mac, recommended)
Safari (Mac, recommended)

Q What sort of file types are accepted?

A We accept images of almost any format, including PSD, TIFF, BMP, EPS, PIC, PNG, JPEG and GIF. As a note, we do not accept works in new media such as flash, html, or executable programs.

We recommend that you submit work in JPEG format with as little compression as possible.

Q What size should the image be?

A All image files should be less than 2 MB. We resize the images for display once they are uploaded. The actual resolution (pixels per inch) of the file is unimportant, just make sure the images you submit are larger than 1024x768 without breaching the 2 MB limit.

Q Can I submit multiple views of the same artwork?

A Each image file you send us counts as one artwork. You may submit more than one view of an artwork but each one counts toward the total number of artworks you have submitted.

Q What happens if my upload fails?

A Login Here, and continue to upload your submission.

As a precaution please be aware that dialup connections tend to have automatic timeouts if the connection is "inactive" for a while. Be aware of your computer trying to notify you that your connection is about to time out.

Q Can I apply by mail instead, I'm a little uncomfortable with computers?

A Yes, click here for instructions and to download a printable application.
